Managing complex workflows for machine maintenance, scheduled operations, bobbin handling, and production activities is challenging and often fragmented. Assigning tasks efficiently, tracking execution status, evaluating performance, and closing the feedback loop typically requires manual coordination and lacks transparency.
Workflow & Task Management in atmos.io enables the digitalization and orchestration of shopfloor processes across management and operations.
Managers can create and structure workflows, assign tasks by hierarchy or task groups, and track task status—open, ongoing, or completed—via a centralized task board. Operators are supported through a dedicated workbench app, guiding execution directly on the shopfloor.
All workflows and tasks digitize manual processes, with related execution data, checklists, and metadata stored in the atmos.io knowledge graph. This data can be reused for quantitative and qualitative performance analysis.
Tasks and workflows can be scheduled or automatically triggered by events from machine and process data received by the platform.
By combining condition monitoring, workflows, and apps, atmos.io enables event‑driven automation: KPIs, data points, or app events are continuously monitored.
When anomalies are detected, a workflow is automatically created and pushed to the responsible operator via notification.
Example:
Spinning pump pressure exceeds 100 PSI → maintenance workflow is triggered → operator is notified and guided through corrective actions.
