When applying hot-melt adhesives, it is above all the evenness of the applucation that is the primary focus. Precision metering does not only presuppose the fast and reproducible operating point setting, it also requires a low-pulsation feed-in of the conveyer medium. Once again, Barmag gear metering pumps offer considerable advantages since the gears are correspondingly designed and precisely manufactured.
The pumps are oprimarily deployed in silicone processing and in hot-melt adhesive applications, but also for processing resins and polyurethanes and other higher-viscous liquids.
